| Integral Systems Introduces satID® Expert with Monics® |
Integration of satID Expert from RT Logic and Monics from SAT Corporation Delivers the Most Robust, Scalable and Cost-Effective Solution Available to the Market SAN FRANCISCO and COLORADO SPRINGS, Co, September 30, 2010 – Integral Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ: ISYS) announced today at the Satellite Users Interference Reduction Group (SUIRG) 2010 Satellite Interference Conference, that its wholly-owned subsidiaries, RT Logic and SAT Corporation, have introduced satID® Expert with Monics®, an integrated, all-in-one signal monitoring, detection and geolocation system. The new system brings together best-in-class carrier monitoring, detection and geolocation products to provide the satellite industry with the most comprehensive, robust and scalable offering available today. According to the SUIRG, signal interference significantly impacts margins, Quality of Service (QoS) and operational efficiency. Industry groups have estimated that the impact of interference on a relatively small satellite fleet can cost an operator more than $1 million per year. satID Expert with Monics provides the deepest level of monitoring, detection and geolocation to ensure interference issues are mitigated in a matter of minutes with the greatest possible accuracy. “The introduction of satID Expert with Monics gives satellite operators access to best-in-class interference mitigation products from Integral Systems,” said Stuart Daughtridge, Integral Systems’ Executive Vice President & General Manager of Products. “A large majority of satellite operators currently rely on Monics to quickly identify interference issues. With today’s announcement, they now have the ability to easily upgrade their Monics systems into a single network of monitoring stations that can double as geolocation data acquisition stations.” Current Monics customers can now easily upgrade their systems to deliver remote acquisition units for satID systems, enabling its use as sensors for split-site and split-reference geolocation scenarios, and for performing Ephemeris Error Compensation (EEC). The new capability enables scalable solutions from a single-site system to a global network of monitoring and geolocation units. With the ability to harness the capabilities of a larger, geographically-distributed network of sensors, operators have a higher probability of mission success when geolocating an interfering signal.
